Since I was little, it has been a yearly tradition to go on a family summer vacation. Most of the time, we go to places a couple of hours drive from Metro Manila and spend a day or two away from our busy schedules, having clean (ok, sometimes not so clean) fun and spending quality time with each other.
This April, we took our usual 3 days and 2 nights family trip to the next level. We planned more than 6 months ahead and booked tickets for 17 people with toddlers, adults and seniors in tow to one of the best places in the world– JAPAN 🇯🇵!
I know a lot of people think they can only dream of a family vacation like this and I thought so too. The amount of planning from from flights to accommodations and finding the budget for it is definitely not an easy task and can dissuade anyone from even trying. It is definitely daunting but it can be done!
I’ll write more posts in the future discussing how we went about making this dream trip into a reality but for now, let me leave you with a short video my sister-in-law, Meggie, made to capture some of our memories in the land of the rising sun.
The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams. — Oprah Winfrey
